What is Project Home?
During the month of August, Saint Mark’s transforms Carolyn Hall and the adjacent small gym into a temporary home for St. Paul families experiencing homelessness. This massive effort, a collaboration with Interfaith Action of St. Paul, is one of the great corporal works of mercy our parish does each year.
Here’s how you can help:
Volunteer:
The success of Project Home depends each year on the time and effort of St. Mark’s parishioners. For more information, or to sign up for a volunteer shift, please visit
stmark.xyz/projecthome. (Some shifts require Virtus training.) Contact Kathy Korkowski with any questions: kkorkowski46@msn.com, 612-819-9312.
Donate:
Help us meet our families’ basic needs as they begin to put their lives in order. Most needed items are feminine hygiene products, towels and washcloths, disposable razors, deodorant, games, craft supplies, and coloring and activity books. Donations can be dropped off at the
Parish Center during office hours.
Pray:
Please keep the success of Project Home and those that it serves in your prayers in the coming months.
