For this year’s Mission Sunday, St. Mark’s is honored to host Fr. Francisco Javier Flores. Fr. Flores was born in Mexico in 1975. He is a religious priest belonging to the Congregation of the Rogationists. He studied Philosophy in Saint John’s Seminary College in LA and Theology in the Philippines in the faculty of the Salesians.
Right after his priesthood, he was assigned in a Formation House in Mexico where he worked as a Vocation Promoter, Formator and Superior of the Formation House. At the present moment, he is a parochial vicar at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Reedley, California.
Fr. Flores and others in his order serve those in need in a host of areas. In addition to running a seminary in the US and in Mexico, the Roganists operate missions that serve children struggling under poverty in Mexico, India, the Philippines, Rwanda. They also minister to the homeless in the US.
