Dear Parishioners of the Church of St. Mark, please join us in praying for the spiritual fruits of the Holy Kids Camp happening August 7th-10th at St. Mark’s!
Praise God that at present, we have almost 100 children signed up! In addition to having many parish families, we are also blessed to have almost 20 families from the St. Mark’s Preschool joining us, and many families who are not from St. Mark’s! We know that the Lord wants to bring many families closer to His Sacred Heart through this camp, and we invite you to help fulfill His desire through your prayers!
We ask you to pray for these families in a couple ways:
Join us in the Adoration Chapel during the hours of the camp from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on August 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the 10th. It would be great to have at least 5 (or many more!) in the Adoration Chapel each hour! Sign up for a slot today at stmark.xyz/warrior
We also invite you to pray a prayer we have written for the spiritual fruits of the camp! Make it part of your daily prayer routine! Prayer cards will be available at the church and chapel entrances!
Add praying for the families participating in the camp and spiritual fruits to your Rosary intentions!
Please join us in praying this prayer, specifically for Holy Kids Camp, during the days of the camp
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we ask You to bring abundant spiritual fruit from this year’s Holy Kids Camp. Pour out Your grace upon the children who will attend, their families and all the catechists and volunteers.
Help each of them respond generously to Your will in their lives and remove any obstacles that could keep them from growing in their relationship with You. Set their hearts aflame for love of You and give them a burning desire for holiness. Draw them to Yourself in the Most Blessed Sacrament and transform them into living furnaces of charity.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we entrust this Holy Kids Camp to you! Amen.
